Context
DXhunt is a news-driven crypto trading product designed for Getmoni in 2024. It brings news, token data and buy/sell actions into one workspace for Ethereum and Solana markets. The design phase was completed; the client later froze the project.
Connect the story to the trading decision.
The challenge was to connect a news feed and a trading terminal in one workflow. Users needed to understand a story, inspect the relevant token and act without losing context. I focused on the transitions between those steps and the information required at each decision.
Turn interviews into a screen scope.
We started with interviews: two sessions with users and one with stakeholders, collecting MVP requirements and user stories with success criteria. I turned those conversations into a requirements set and mapped it as the user flow below. It defined the key functional areas and the exact set of screens to design.
Act on a story without losing its context.
I used wireframes to agree on screen functionality with stakeholders, then built the final UI on shadcn/ui. The design phase took 1.5 weeks. The Feed combines live news for selected coins with story details and quick buy/sell controls. Users can adjust preset trade amounts in settings and review earlier news for the same coin without leaving the context.
Review a token before opening a position.
The Dashboard groups recently listed coins into Pump.fun and Dexscreener tabs. Alongside sorting and coin data, it surfaces honeypot warnings, top-10 holder concentration and blacklist status. These signals help users assess risk before opening a position.
Keep market and social context beside the trade.
Opening a coin brings up the Terminal, with trading controls and tabs for activity, position history and related news. The right panel shows three social mentions rated by Getmoni Discover, plus changes to the associated X account’s handle or bio. This keeps market context and credibility signals beside the trading decision.
Manage balances and positions together.
The Wallet follows familiar patterns: ETH and SOL balances, performance over a selected period, transaction history and open positions. Position-closing controls sit beside the relevant position so users can act without searching through another screen.
Design delivered. Project later frozen.
The design connected quick buy and sell actions with each news story, supported by a market dashboard, trading terminal and wallet. After the design was delivered, the project was frozen on the client side.
